Definition:

Textile Printing is the localized or discontinuous application of dyes or pigments to produce various designs or motifs on the fabric. Printing is done on fabric in dry condition.

To print design on fabric we certainly need some elements.

  1. Grey Cloth
  2. Brushing and shearing
  3. Singeing
  4. Scouring
  5. Bleaching
  6. Mercerising
  7. Preparation of priting paste
  8. Printing
  9. Drying
  10. Steaming(100-102C for 15 mins)
  11. After Treatment
